Greetings from Kusti
Kusti (Big-Wood’s Gruffudd Gritus for Kilvroch), who moved to UK about one month ago, has found his first geocache and done well in showrings. He was Best Puppy and gained his first Junior Warrant point from his very first show only three days after arriving. Here is his first critique: “S WALES CORGI C, 14/01/12 CARDIGANS – P (8) Eby’s Big-Wood’s Gruffudd Gritus for Kilvroch, took my eye as he came in the ring, lovely head & ears, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, good front & feet, move well both ways keeping his topline, quality puppy who should have a good future. Best Puppy. (Erica Blunstone)”
January 21st he went to the Manchester Championship Show and placed 3rd in his class. This means that he’s now qualified for Crufts 2013. Thank you Eileen for being so active!
Reipas kuukausi sitten Englantiin matkannut Kusti (Big-Wood’s Gruffudd Gritus) on ollut aktiivinen paitsi geokätköilyssä myös näyttelyrintamalla. Kolme päivää maahantulonsa jälkeen se tepasteli ensimmäiset kehärinkinsä, hurmasi tuomarin ja voitti luokkansa ollen paras pentu. Se myös sai ensimmäisen Junior Warrant -titteliin tarvittavan pisteensä. Tästä viikkoa myöhemmin se osallistui Manchesterin Championship-näyttelyyn, jossa se sijoittui luokassaan kolmanneksi ja sai näin ollen osallistumisoikeuden Cruftsiin 2013. Hyvä Kusti! Kiitos Eileen!

Tärppä (Big-Wood’s My Woozle) & Katri Soini aloittivat agilityvuotensa 2012 tyylillä. Vuoden tavoite (“nousta kolmosiin”) täyttyi vuoden ensimmäisenä päivänä vuoden ensimmäisissä kisoissa. Kummastakin startista virheettömät radat ja sijoituset 3. ja 1. ja LUVA-tulokset molemmista. Tämä tarkoitti Tärpän toista AGI-sertiä ja nousua kolmosluokkaan. ONNEA!

Mint odotteli meillä yhdeksän vauhdikasta kuukautta passiasioidensa valmistumista ja matkasi joulukuun 5. päivä Finnairin siivin omaan kotiinsa Englantiin. Päivää ennen matkaansa se sai nimensä eteen tittelin “Suomen Juniorivoittaja 2011” joka tarkoittaa myös osallistumisoikeutta maailman suurimpaan koiranäyttelyyn Cruftsiin ensi maaliskuussa.
