TuTu (FI/NO Ch Big-Wood’s Triumph Renown) got two special awards today. This big trophy & the beautiful plate tell that she is “Showdog of the Year in the Northern Ostrobothnia (district), Finland”. TuTu was also TOP1 Cardigan & TOP1 Cardigan Bitch (shared). Unfortunately we couldn’t go to the Finnish Welsh Corgi Club’s annual meeting, so we’ll have TuTu’s and her mom Butterup’s (kilvroch Tamina) TOP1 brood bitch rosettes later on.
TuTu (FI/NO MVA Big-Wood’s Triumph Renown) palkittiin oikein huolella lauantaina 23.3. Pohjois-Pohjanmaan kennelpiiri palkitsi sen vuoden näyttelykoirana ja Suomen Welsh Corgi Seura vuoden cardigan narttuna ja vuoden cardiganina. Ykkössijansa corgikisoissa TuTu jakoi Taigatähden Afroditen kanssa. Onnea Jojon taustajoukoille!
Koska kahdessa paikassa ei voi olla yhtä aikaa, olimme vastaanottamassa Kennelpiirin palkintoa itse. Corgiseuran vuosikokouksessa jaetut voittoruusukkeet saapuvat meille hieman myöhemmin. Ruusukkeiden seassa tulee olemaan myös TuTun Buttercup-emän (Kilvroch Tamina) vuoden jalostusnarttu-ruusuke. Kiitokset Buttercupin pentujen omistajille hienosti menneistä näyttelykäynneistä!

Romi (Big-Wood’s My Tribal) & Sonja Oikarainen kisasivat ensimmäistä kertaa TOKO-kokeissa. ALO2-tulos 153 pisteellä ei ollut lainkaan huono ensikerta. ONNEA!
Romi (Big-Wood’s My Tribal) & Sonja Oikarainen took part to their first obedience trial and got 153/200 points. Well done!

This time no placement for Mint (FiJW-11 Big-Wood’s North Troll Girl for Liebehund) from huge Post Graduate class, but we had fun together and Mint moved like a dream.
Tällä kertaa Mint (JV-11 Big-Wood’s North Troll Girl for Liebehund) jäi sijoittumassa päivän suurimmassa Post Graduate -luokassa, mutta kiva oli yhdessä kehää kiertää. Mint esiintyi hienosti ja liikkui kuin unelma.

Pepper (Big-Wood’s Kultakuume Goes to Liebehund) was Best Puppy in Breed and Puppy Group 3 at Swindon & DCS General Open Show today. The breed was judged by Lisa Croft-Elliott and the group by Carrie Russel-Smith. Both of these judges are well known Cardigan Corgi breeders. Well done & congratulations Pepper, Jo & co.
Pepper (Big-Wood’s Kultakuume Goes to Liebehund) oli tänään 2.3.2013 ROP-pentu ja BIS3-pentu Swindon & DCS Open Showssa. Rodun ja loppukilpailuon tuomareina toimivat rotua itsekin kasvattavat Lisa Croft-Elliott ja Carrie Russel-Smith.

Pepper (Big-Wood’s Kultakuume Goes to Liebehund) was 1st in Minor Puppies at West of England Welsh Corgi Associaton’s open show Feb 24th 2013. Well done little Pepper and thank you Jo & co for her first debute in UK.
In the same show Mint (Big-Wood’s North Troll Girl at Liebehund) was 2nd in Novice Dog or Bitch.
Pepper (Big-Wood’s Kultakuume Goes to Liebehund) voitti pikkupennut Wesh of England Welsh Corgi Associationin open showssa 24.2.2013. Rotunsa parhaan pennun valinnassa se sai tunnustaa paremmakseen liki vuosikkaan kanssakilpailijan, mutta Pepperin päivä oli silti onnistunut. Se oli esiintynyt reippaasti ja nauttinut saamastaan huomiosta.
Myös Mint (Big-Wood’s North Troll Girl at Liebehund) osallistui samaan näyttelyyn ja sijoittui luokassaan toiseksi.

Kätyri (Big-Wood’s Nobody’s Fool) & Pia Alatorvinen tokottelivat tänään 24.2.2013 Kuopiossa AVO1-tuloksen 177 pisteellä. Tuomarina oli Anne Nokelainen. Tällä tuloksella lohkesi myös luokan parhaat pisteet. Seuraavan kerran Kätyri kisaa voittajaluokassa. Onnea ja onnea!
Kätyri (Big-Wood’s Nobody’s Fool) Pia Alatorvinen won their obedience class (Open, level 2) today at Kuopio. They got 177/200 points. Well done!

NORD/FI/SE/NO Ch Big-Wood’s Kiwi Dj has mated FI/NO Ch Big-Wood’s Triumph Renown. We hope to have puppies in the end of April 2013.
Meillä odotellaan nyt, josko Eskon ja TuTun puuhat tuottavat tulosta huhtikuun lopulla.
