[SHOWS] VAASA INTERNATIONAL

Iceland’s volcano and a no-fly zone caused a lot of troubles to the show committee. They had to do a lot of changes to the judging list and time schedules. What a job in so short period!
The Cardigan entry was 15, but 3 were absent. Instead of Swedish judge Benny Blid, the breed were judged by Leni Finne. The best male was our TuTu’s father, Ch. Cheysuli’s Tri To Remember. Well Done Taija & Kennedy! The best bitch and BOB was our Cat, Big-Wood’s Catwalk, who also finished her Ch title. This was the very first show after her 2nd birthday and the very first possibility to finish the title. Well done Cat! This was her 9th show in Finland and her 7th CC.
Cat’s fullsister Tove (Big-Wood’s Catowice) was 2nd in open bitches and Romi (Big-Wood’s My Tribal) 1st in intermediate dogs. They both were graded as “Very Good”.

[AGILITY] Tärppä’s & Katri’s debute on the level2
Lohja 17.4.2010
Tärppä (Big-Wood’s My Woozle) and Katri Soini passed the level1 with style. Now was their turn to try the level 2 and I’m so proud to tell that they continued with the same style 
Their first round was clear and they placed 6th and the next one was almost as good as the first one – only one mistake. Well done girls!

[SHOWS] THE LIST OF THE TOP WINNING CARDIGAN CORGIS IN FINLAND
Finnish Welsh Corgi Club published the annual list of the TOP winning corgis. Our Catwalk placed 6th in TOP bitches (adults) and 3rd in TOP young Cardigans beaten only by two males. We think that we can call our Cat as “top-winning-young-bitch”
Our 12 years old grand-old-lady Ringa (Big-Wood’s Tirion) placed 5th in TOP veterans.
Misiu (Tiramisu-Lisiura Controversia) was 2nd in Stud Dog list and Catwalk’s dam Big-Wood’s Bilberry 10th in brood bitches.

Finnish club called “Cardi Can ry” recognized Big-Wood’s Fool’n Ideal’s agility merits during the 2009 and she was awarded as “Top Agility Corgi 2009″. We are so proud of our little Femma!

[AGILITY] UNSSI, THE VERY FIRST JUMPING CHAMPION CARDIGAN CORGI IN FINLAND!
Unssi, FIN AGI CH Big-Wood’s Tiny Chinook is the first Cardigan Welsh Corgi in Finland who has also achieved the title “Agility-Jumping Champion”. We are so proud of Unssi & his owner Anneli Kukkonen & his handler Minna Karjalainen. Team Unssi is really something!

[PUPPIES] Kennedy’s & Buttercup’s puppies
Puppies out of Kilvroch Tamina by Cheysuli’s Tri to Remember are here. They were born on Jan 11st. We have 3 boys (red brindle, dark brindle & clear red) and 3 girls (dark brindle & 2 sable/reds). Buttercup is nursing very well and puppies have grown up a lot during their first days.
